Day 1
Arrive Marrakech. Your driver will collect you from the airport and take you to your accommodation. Depending
on your time of arrival you will have the afternoon/evening to explore the wonders of Marrakech. Visit the Jemaa El
Fna Square, the Old Medina, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Botanical Gardens, the ruins of Elbadii
Palace where you can see the tanners and dyers quarters, join the hustle and bustle and bargain in the souks or if you just
want to sit back and get orientated, take a position in one of the many cafe's & restaurants that border the main
square and observe the madness beyond.

Day 2
Marrakech - Ouarzazate (240 km).
Early in the morning we make our way across the High Atlas Mountain via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass observing some of Morocco's
most picturesque scenery to the oasis town of Ouarzazate. We will visit the Glaoui Kasbah at Telouet and the nearby
fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site that contains the best preserved collection of Kasbahs in Morocco.

Day 3
Ouarzazate
- Todra Gorge (200 km). After breakfast we depart for Todra Gorge via the Valley of the Roses, the "Valley of 1000
Kasbahs" and Dades Gorge. After stopping for lunch we will drive to Todra Gorge, through the impressive Dades Gorge
and Valley, along a route less travelled and somewhat off the beaten track where you will see more ruined Kasbahs, cliffside
ksars and amazing rock formations of different shapes and colours. The landscape is nothing but spectacular, a deep
river valley with patchwork green fields which rise steeply to road level, and beyond that a flat desert plateau
and all in the shadows of the snow-capped Atlas.

Day 4
Todra Gorge - Tamshalt (90 km). After
breakfast we head off the beaten track driving off road through the Jebel Sahro Range passing small Berber villages and
magnificent rock pinnacles. Here the nomadic Berbers graze their animals and live in traditional tents. We will
take a picnic lunch at the top of the mountain range. |
Day 5
Tamshalt - Chegaga Dunes (260 km) .
After breakfast we make our way through the Valley of Drâa to the Chegaga Dunes, the highest dunes in this part of Morocco.
Spend the night at the foot of the dunes and admire the sunset in the peaceful silence of this magnificent setting.

Day 6
Chegaga Dunes - Marrakech (350 km) .
Early in the morning we make our way to Marrakech.

Day 7
Marrakech. A full day to explore this
exotic city.

Day 8
Your driver will collect you from your hotel
and take you to the airport for your flight departure.
