August 23 Arrive Marrakech. Your driver will collect you from the airport and take you to your accommodation. Depending
on your time of arrival you will have the afternoon/evening to explore the wonders of Marrakech. Visit the Jemaa El
Fna Square, the Old Medina, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Botanical Gardens, the ruins of Elbadii
Palace where you can see the tanners and dyers quarters, join the hustle and bustle and bargain in the souks or if you just
want to sit back and get orientated, take a position in one of the many cafe's & restaurants that border the main
square and observe the madness beyond.

August 24 Marrakech - Imilchil (330km). After breakfast we will depart for Imilchil through the Middle Atlas Mountain region.
Spend the afternoon wandering the markets and enjoying the festival.

August 25 Imilchil - This morning we will take a light hike to circuit the Plateau des Lacs. On returning
to Imilchil the rest of your afternoon will be devoted to the closing ceremony of the festival events.

August 26 Imilchil - Merzouga (250Km). After breakfast we depart for Merzouga the highest dunes in Morocco ,via Todra Gorge
you will see magnificent ribbons of palm and olive groves, patchworks of tiny crop fields and about a dozen pink-grey villages.
a canyon 1,000 ft high, cut into the pink and green walls of the High Atlas.

August 27 Merzouga - Ouarzazate (360 km). Rise early and climb to the top of the dunes and experience the magical sunrise
and after breakfast we take our camels back to Merzouga before departing for Ouarzazate via Alnif and Tazarine, a vast stony
plain.

August 28 Ouarzazate - Tardount (160km). After breakfast we start our long journey towards the magnificent Tardount. Our drive takes us through varied landscapes, the valley of Safran
and over Jebel Siroua. We will spend the night at Tardount before continuing towards the Essaouira.

August 29 Taroudant - Essaouira (250km). After breakfast depart for the beautiful old Portuguese port of Essaouira on
the Atlantic Coast. Explore this white-washed city famous for its woodwork shops or head to the beach for a stroll or
horse or camel ride. Relax at the numerous cafes that line the main square and visit the fish market and sample the
freshest fish in Morocco. The pace of life is much calmer in Essaouira and it is a perfect place to relax. Spend
the night in a beautiful riad within the walled city with fantastic views of the Atlantic from the rooftop terrace.

August 30 Essaouira. Spend the day in this relaxing environment and explore at your own leisure.
|
August 31 Essaouira - Marrakech (170km) In the morning we will make our way to Marrakech. You will have the afternoon
to explore the wonders of Marrakech.

September 1 Your driver will collect you from your hotel and take you to the airport for your flight departure.
|
